The Lens:the Tokina 100mm macro lens is capable of photographing the full range of dental subject from as close as two teeth intra-orally outward to facial picture taking. Dine adds their “dental standardization” guide to the lens . The guide notes the ideal spot to set the lens for all of the most popular dental subjects as well as recommended f stops. The goal of the guide is repetition, from shot to shot and from user to user. The guide makes it easy to take the same pictures over and over. This is the most user friendly lens for dental staff members. This guide allows for the fastest and most consistent manner of taking photos and is ideal for those holding the camera in one hand and instrument/mirror with the other.
